Two-factor authentication

Who's in the household and how they get in.

Get the family calendar out to your phones, and control which connected calendars show in the app.

Subscribe from Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or Outlook to see family events alongside your own — read-only. Anyone with this link can read the feed, so only share it with people you trust.

Regenerating the link cuts off anyone using the old one. Apple Calendar & Outlook refresh every ~15 minutes; Google refreshes on its own schedule (usually a few hours).

Manage external (ICS) calendar feeds with the 🔗 Feeds button on the Calendar page, and show or hide each one with the 👁️ Calendars menu next to it — hiding a calendar keeps it connected, it just stops drawing on the family views.

Outbound email powers invitations, task notifications, and the Comments form. Credentials are managed centrally, not here.

SMTP credentials live in the STUKL Console secrets vault. Rotate them at /identity/admin/secrets and restart this app to pick up new values. If they can't be loaded at boot, invites fall back to copy-and-paste links.

Sends one message through the configured credentials so you can confirm delivery works. Defaults to your own address.

One AI setting for the whole app: recipe import from text or photos, tidy-ups of names and titles, and automatic shopping-aisle sorting all use whichever provider is chosen here. With no AI configured those features simply hide — nothing else breaks.

"Household default" uses the key provided by the server, if one is installed. Choosing a provider uses your own account and its billing.
